A Taipei native, comic creator Michael Shau's Beast of the Clouds: Guardians from the Ancient Times was nominated for the 2021 Golden Comic Awards. His work was exhibited at the 2016 Angoulême International Comics Festival, and My Little Boys Vol. 3 was nominated for the 2023 Golden Comic Awards.
