Michael is a translator and an editor based in Taipei. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago and previously served as editor-in-chief of FTV’s English-language news program, where his translation of a special report on North Korea won the 2010 Asian Television Award for Best Single News Story. Michael has translated multiple works for the Photographers of Taiwan book series as well as a book detailing Taiwan’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
