Anne is a writer, translator, and communications consultant with an M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has translated various documents for businesses and nonprofits, including political surveys, press releases, and other marketing materials. As a former U.S.-based nonprofit leader, she frequently worked with English and Mandarin-speaking press, and sometimes served as an interpreter for Chinese families in the community. Anne is also a former journalist who used Chinese to report English pieces, such as profiles on pop star Jay Chou and Asus chairman Jonney Shih for Fast Company magazine, and Forbes Travel Guide’s Beijing and Hong Kong editions.
