Alan Chiu is a professional interpreter, translator, and translation editor with over 20 years of experience. Trained and educated at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei and the University of Bath in the UK, Alan’s translation works have appeared in publications such as the Taipei Chinese Pen. As an interpreter, Alan won the First Award in the Grand Final of the Third Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest in November 2011, and has worked as a volunteer interpreter for organizations such as ATD Fourth World. He has worked as a professional translation editor at Linguitronics Co., Ltd. since 2012.
