Lai Po-Wei is a principal architect at Bioarchitecture Formosana and the founder of the WillipodiA Urban Research Group. He holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and has practiced architecture and urban design in Boston, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore, and Taipei. He previously served as a full-time assistant professor at National Cheng Kung University. Recognized as an Outstanding Young Architect by the Taiwan Architectural Association, Lai is also the author of several influential books, including Parasitic Temples, Ashes to Ashes, and The Road to Rebirth.
